WARNING - it has been brought to the club 's attention several back yard breeders are claiming
they are member's of SA clubs. Please verify their membership status before parting with your hard earnt money on pet quality
rabbits. If it sounds too good to be true, it more than likely is.
Breeders learn via exhibition at rabbits shows. Breeders learn about type, quality, and better breeding practices. Hands
on and via comments at a rabbit show, with constructive criticisim, assists them to breed better, and healthier rabbits,
therefore healthier pets.
Club endorsed breeders abide by a code of ethics - rabbit
kittens are recommended to be sold from 10 weeks of age.
Would you like to learn about pure bred show quality
rabbit breeds? Are you interested in purchasing purebred stock from regular exhibitors who breed to standards, who promote
responsible pet ownership? Then we can help.
Why not bring along your pet rabbit and try rabbit hopping? Safe, enjoyable,
off lead agility with your rabbit. A great bonding experience for you and your companion rabbit.

BUYER BEWARE
TSARFS do not support the use of the word "registered breeder" by club members. There is no
such thing in Australian clubs at this time. TSARFS do however support our club members who exhibit on a regular basis, by
acknowledging a stud prefix and breeder recommendations for those on our breeder's directory. There is a difference.
Registered breeder is a back yard breeder's term.
A club recognised breeder is a regular exhibitor, who presents their stock for comment, breeds
to a standard, and agrees to abide by their club's code of conduct. They will provide back up and support.
For information on pure bred rabbits, show quality and breeding stock, contact your local rabbit
association.
